Black Bean Hummus

This delicious black bean hummus recipe uses black beans instead of the traditional chick peas. It is high in protein, healthy carbs and a good source of calcium via the unhulled tahini. Try it with Paleo Pure Keto Crackers, corn chips, vegetable sticks, or as a healthy sandwich spread..

Ingredients:

1 can of black beans (drain and reserve liquid)

1 clove of garlic

2 tablespoons of Carwari, Plenty or Melrose Sesame Oil

2 tablespoons of Carwari or Melrose Organic Unhulled Tahini

2 tablespoons lime juice

½ teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon ground coriander

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender along with two tablespoons of the reserved liquid. Blend until smooth.
