Unrefined Pumpkin Seed Oil has almost equal portions of Omega-9 and Omega-6 fatty acids with a high proportion of Palmitic acid. The non-fat portion – about 2% in the unrefined oil, contains several phystosterolic compounds and phospholipids (lecithins).
Styrian Pumpkins are unique to Austria and especially grown for the oil from their seeds. Styrian pumpkin seed oil is dark green and has a tantalising taste.
